Trials and Tribulations

God lets us go through many things in this world. God doesn't promise us a tommorrow... That's the problem with some people... You can't put off a relationship with Christ, you aren't promised your next breath... But God gives us trials... natural disaters, people harming others, physical differences, lonliness.. so that we can grow closer to Him while we are here... You don't grow leading a stagnant life. You need to have something changing in order to have changes in your life. Hard times make you stronger... God makes you endure them, in order to build up your endurance... How do you think you will last when the big things come if you can't grow with God during the small things? By gaining endurance, your character matures. You become a better-rounded person. You have gone through something rough... And now, when you know someone that is struggling with the same thing, you can help to guide them to God... You know what they are going through. God put you in that position. Through this struggle your character builds... Since God was the only person you could run to with everything, you became closer during this rought point in your life. So, through this trial, God has blessed you with the opportunity to become closer to Him. Let these dark times help you faith in the fact that God is ALWAYS there for you grow so so much...Life isn't fair, guys... That's why we are on earth... if things were fair, we'd be in heaven... This is a world full of corruption. We as children of God need to focus on God's love for us to get us by. We are nothing without Christ. *all i need is your love... come and fill this heart of mine...

Dear Daddy...

Please help all those struggling out there. Please help those who feel so alone. Please let them know that you are there, right beside them and YOU are in control. Thank you for granting me another day, another breath, another chance to get closer to you. Thank you for the good people in this crazy world. Please help us to hold onto you during those times when we don't feel like we can go on. Please don't let us give up. Please help all those who feel like they are missing something, find you. Thank you for the faith and character and endurance that you bring to us through trials.

In Christ's precious name I pray- Amen

It looks like it's time for a new entry... I hope that God has led each and every one of you to our site to learn something new... You should feel like you've grown closer to Christ daily... Because when you spend time with someone, you get closer and closer. I hope you are spending every moment in prayer with your Lord and Savior.

I was listening to "Away from the Sun" today. That song hits me for a few reasons. One of my close friends felt like this song described him at one point in life. He now has an amazing relationship with his Dad... but sometimes I think we all feel like we are so far away from anything. It feels like there's no one around that cares. It's rough, but you have to keep going. It isn't fun to be alone, but that's when you need to realize that, in reality, you are not alone. The Lord will never leave you. (Hbr 13:5) You are not alone. I know that everyone gets down like that. I have plenty of times.  I know that God is always there though, even when it's hard to believe that anyone could possibly love you. He does. And even though people screw up... there are going to be people there to help you along the way. God puts obstacles in your way... but He will never give you more than you an chew.  If you feel like you are so alone, send us an e-mail... we can pray for you and talk to you via e-mail.  Just keep reminding yourself that God is always with you and He loves you more than you can concieve.

*Peace and Joy Be With You

Wow, it has been a while since we have been able to update.  Things have been pretty hectic lately but God is still good.  I pray that each of you are doing great as well.  I apologize if it seems that we have let you down; if you are reading this pass it on to others to help encourage them.  This is not our work, but God's work.  Let the glory go to Him.

A few nights ago I was watching the stars and was amazed at the beauty God has placed before us all.  It got me to thinking about the love God has for me....and rightly so.  You see, as it says in the 13th chapter of Corinthians, without love all else is useless.  It doesn't even matter.  Through the stars God reminded me of the fire that is burning in his heart and through his eyes for us.  It feels me with so much hope but also so much pain to realize how much Christ loved us when he died on that cross.  It wasn't the nails that kept him on the cross- it was love.  He took on our every sin, our deepest sorrows so that we might be saved while we were STILL sinners.  He didn't die for us after we loved him, but before we loved him.  Because of this I know that no matter how bad of I day I have had or how bad I have messed up, he is still waiting there in front of me with open arms, ready to hold me close and wipe away my tears.  He is waiting to do the same for you.  You only have to let him hold you.

Well I hope you have been encouraged by this entry.  We are continuing to pray that this outreach continues to grow.  Once again, this site is not about us but about God, so if you have something you want to share or a testimony to give, PLEASE email us at hbr313@hotmail.com and we'll try to post it for you.  It will be kept anonymous.  Take care.  In Christ, God Bless.

I'm sure that you have all probably heard that God backwards spells out dog forwards... It's so crazy because you can kick a dog away so many times, but they are always there if you want someone to cuddle with. They never leave your side and are true companions.

It's the same way with God. You can continue to push Him aside and forget about Him, but He will always be there when you are ready to come back to Him. He continually forgives you whenever you mess up. You may not be fogiven by man, but God is perfect. He is forgiving. We have so much to learn from the love that God gives us. We need to learn how to not let things of this world get in between relationships that we should give anything for. We should not care what this world says love is, but what the bible says love is...

1 Corinthians 13
1 If I could speak in any language in heaven or on earth but didn't love others, I would only be making meaningless noise like a loud gong or a clanging cymbal. 2 If I had the gift of prophecy, and if I knew all the mysteries of the future and knew everything about everything, but didn't love others, what good would I be? And if I had the gift of faith so that I could speak to a mountain and make it move, without love I would be no good to anybody. 3 If I gave everything I have to the poor and even sacrificed my body, I could boast about it; but if I didn't love others, I would be of no value whatsoever.
4 Love is patient and kind. Love is not jealous or boastful or proud 5 or rude. Love does not demand its own way. Love is not irritable, and it keeps no record of when it has been wronged. 6 It is never glad about injustice but rejoices whenever the truth wins out. 7 LOVE NEVER GIVES UP, NEVER LOSES FAITH, IS ALWAYS HOPEFUL, AND ENDURES THROUGH EVERY CIRCUMSTANCE.
8 LOVE WILL LAST FOREVER, but prophecy and speaking in unknown languages and special knowledge will all disappear. 9 Now we know only a little, and even the gift of prophecy reveals little! 10 But when the end comes, these special gifts will all disappear.
11 It's like this: When I was a child, I spoke and thought and reasoned as a child does. But when I grew up, I put away childish things. 12 Now we see things imperfectly as in a poor mirror, but then we will see everything with perfect clarity.* All that I know now is partial and incomplete, but then I will know everything completely, just as God knows me now.
13 There are three things that will endure-faith, hope, and love-and the greatest of these is love. That's the love we should aspire to give others. True neverending love.

Some people let jealously control their lives. Others let money control. But the people that are the best off in the end let God control. They let the love control their lives. They don't give in to things of this world. They understand that love is the only thing worth living for, because it's the only thing that will truly last forever.
